GENERAL DESCRIPTION

CineMotion - Tools for simulating film motion, controlling noise and more!

CineMotion is a set of 10 plug-ins for After Effects MacOS that allows you to take any video footage (SVHS, Hi-8, Beta, DV-Cam) and make it move like film, reduce or enhance grain, diminish interlace flicker, create film-aspect ratios, perform posterization effects and lessen color banding artifacts.

All plug-ins have presets, so you can get started quickly. You can also save your own presets, and trade them with others or use the on other projects.


FUNCTIONALITY

• DE Film Motion™ - CineMotion simulates the effect of telecine transfer from film to video. Film Motion performs a sophisticated simulation of 24 frame-per-second film playing on 60 field-per-second video. You can choose from 8 different film-motion simulators, from general purpose to key-framable motion blurs.

• DE Adaptive Noise - Allows you to place RGB or monochrome noise is areas of flat color, creating an organic liveliness in an otherwise flat image, without loss of detail.

• DE Banding Reducer™ - Reduces the effect of smooth-color regions that occur with color correction effects (like CineLook's Chromamatch) and certain compression algorithms.

• DE Grain Reducer™ - Reduces the apparent graininess and noise in images using 10 different reduction algorithms, all fully controllable.

• DE Interlace Aliasing Reducer - Reduces the apparent flickeriness that may occur when using 3:2 pulldown within After Effects, and some of the algorithms in Film Motion. Flickeriness occurs with non-organic images (like cars and buildings), and computer generated footage.

• DE Selective RGB Noise - Allows you to control exactly where to place monochrome or RGB noise in an image, based on the Red, Green and Blue brightness values of the source image.

• DE Selective HSB Noise - Allows you to control exactly where to place monochrome, RGB or HSB noise in an image based on the Hue, Saturation and Brightness values of the source image.

• DE Selective RGB Posterize - Allows you to add posterization (also known as color banding) of an image through the Red, Green and Blue channels independently.

• DE Selective HSB Posterize - Allows you to add posterization (also known as color banding) of an image based on the Hue, Saturation and Brightness channels independently.

• DE Letterbox - Create cinematic aspect ratios, quickly and easily.


CineMotion was designed to allow video producers to give their productions the motion of film with complete flexibility and control. CineMotion is a great companion to DigiEffects award-winning product, CineLook. The Film Motion plug-in creates a much enhanced version of the standard 3:2 pulldown for After Effects.
